We Handle Any Plumbing Emergency
Our licensed plumbers are equipped to handle every type of plumbing emergency β day or night, weekday or holiday.
Burst Pipes
Colorado freeze-thaw cycles are brutal on pipes. If you have a burst or split pipe, we'll shut off your water, remove damaged sections, and restore your supply line β often in a single visit.
Flooding & Water Damage
Active flooding from a plumbing failure requires immediate shutoff and extraction. We'll diagnose the source, stop the flow, and coordinate with restoration services if needed.
Sewer Backups
A sewage backup is a health hazard. We respond fast, clear the blockage, and assess the line to prevent it from happening again. We service main line backups and isolated fixture backups.
Water Heater Failures
No hot water β especially in a Colorado winter β is an urgent problem. We carry water heaters on our trucks and can often complete installation the same day we diagnose the failure.
Gas Line Emergencies
Suspected gas leak? Leave the house and call 911 first, then call us. We're certified for gas line work in Colorado and can repair or replace residential gas lines once the area is safe.
Overflowing Fixtures
An overflowing toilet, tub, or sink can cause significant water damage fast. We'll be there quickly to clear the blockage and assess whether the cause is a simple clog or a more serious pipe problem.
No After-Hours Markup. Ever.
Some plumbing companies charge 1.5x or 2x their regular rate for nights and weekends. We don't. The rate you're quoted at 11pm on a Sunday is the same rate you'd pay at 9am on a Tuesday.
We made this decision when we started Apex in 2008. Plumbing emergencies hit hardest when people are least prepared for an unexpected expense. Adding a premium on top of that felt wrong then, and it still does.
Our emergency rate covers our cost to dispatch a licensed technician at any hour. It's fair, it's transparent, and you'll know the price before we arrive.
What to Do Before We Arrive
Steps you can take right now to minimize damage while our team is on the way.
Shut Off Your Water
Locate your main water shutoff valve (usually in the basement, crawl space, or near the water meter) and turn it off. For a single fixture emergency, the shutoff is typically under the sink or behind the toilet.
Turn Off Your Water Heater
If you've shut off the main water supply, also switch your water heater to the "pilot" setting to prevent damage to the tank from heating an empty system.
Move Valuables Away From Water
Quickly relocate electronics, documents, and valuables away from any pooling water. Lay down towels or use a wet-vac if you have one available.
Call Us & Stay On the Line
When you call (719) 555-0182, our dispatcher will confirm your address, give you an ETA, and can walk you through any additional steps while our plumber is on the way.
